Guthrie Health in New York and Pennsylvania has installed Patient Care Signs to improve caregiver communication and improve patient safety in three hospitals, Troy Community Hospital, Robert Packer Hospital, and most recently at Corning Hospital. This gallery of images is a good illustration of how the Patient Care Sign is useful not only for patient rooms, but also for exam rooms, ICU rooms, triage and trauma rooms.
Here is a testimonial quote from one of the Guthrie nurses:
“I am very pleased with the signs that we chose for our Patients at our new facility. All of the staff Nursing, Therapy, Dietary etc … all feel that they are very user friendly and have a lot of information. I think we made the right decisions on the specific tabs we purchased, there have not been any cases yet that we came across that would have used a different tab insert. The Isolation signage is so easy to use and is very convenient that they are all stored there at the holder. I personally like them because they are so professional looking and do not clutter the door area but have all the information that anyone would need for that patient.”
